Local rock climber Mike Stam takes on a higher perspective of the Table Rock Fire from the west rim of the Linville Gorge. We're about one mile away as the crow flies from the fire and the sight and sounds of the fire mesmerized us for hours. The moonlight lit up the top of the smoke plume as the fire's glow lit up the bottom part.
